It won't necessarily be that slow, try for example the 'Radiosity_Fast'
settings in rad_def.inc or even use higher error_bound.

*sigh* You know, I'll confess... I am just trying to save my brain the
hassle to take a lot at a time. I've only *played* with radiosity
once, same with isos and functions. But it's a matter of honor... I'll
take the plunge.

Now we know the reason for the phrase, "...too many Cooks"!

Waitasec.

Are you saying my suggestion about a bit of smoke's no good?!
*pout* I think it'd be kinda neat.

I think I tried to make a "real" image once.

Nah, my first reaction to your smoke suggestion was a good chuckle. Smoke's
a great idea. I may go back an resurrect the MegaPOV 0.4 code one of these
days.

Here it is 2 with radiosity. The second picture attached has been
post-processed to hurt your eyes :)

I like the first one better.

I like the red texture on the sphere with this one :-)

I'd do it on a Pentium/166. Once or twice a year I run a 1-2 week render.
