I've made a cheap and dirty mesh macro that creates mountain peaks. It 
isn't bad, but it isn't great either, and I'm sure it's horribly 
inefficient.

Basically, it creates an even mesh of triangles in a square, raises the 
height of the vertices according to a fractal landscape, and then 
dampens the edges in a circle around the center of the mesh, either 
linearly or based on a sine wave.
