Well. I give it a try. This glow stuff is _very_ good. I think it will
give a new dimension to povray (as photons and isosurfaces did).

There are two glows, one with turbulence. There are two light sources
(on is a fill). Glow behaves like fog in povray.

The lamppost is a little bit sketchy.

Thank you Chris.

Regards, Alberto.

Is it possible to "shade" a glow? The amount of light above the lamp post
is too big.

It is not possible right now, though I am trying to figure out how to
constrain them to conical areas.

Is it not possible to use negative color values. If it is possible then
simply add one above the positive colored glow. Not exactly a thing to try
for a conical shape though.

It is quite possible, in fact, it is mentioned on the POV-AFX web page,
in the "Tricks & tips" section.
http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/2143/povafx10.html

However, I don't know how well this would work for a directional glow
effect...
