The following material was produced in 1997 (as far as the file
date-stamps claim), before I had access to the 'Net. These are my very
first attempts at using POV-Ray, and I only posting the more
presentable ones (ie. no shiney spheres on checkered planes).

there is nothing wrong with shiny spheres or chequered planes - we still do
quite a lot of those if truth be told - its a classic raytacing image that
was done to death as soon as the first raytracer was released - who are we
to argue with tradition!
