Question and radiosity setting in p.n.; here (part of) the image that 
has unexpected spots on the ceiling next to the 'lamp'.
The lamp is a light_source color 0 looks_like{sphere}.
the ceiling is lit by a spotlight pointing straight upwards.

Help anyone, please??

Do you have any extremely bright things in your scene? Glow effects, or 
objects with a high ambient? I think I've seen this before, when a 
couple samples hit a small, extremely bright area, and throw off the 
calculations of the point being sampled.
