... or "Light Sabres of Doom" :)

This came out looking kind of like a six-way light sabre with an evil
Rubik's cube in the middle.

I don't like the way the lighting on the left hand blue guy is darker than
the others, I'll have to take a look at that, but after a 2.5 hour trace,
I'm not going to redo it just yet ...

Comments?

Such images always make me want to insert a scalding remark about light beams in
vacuum :)
But I'll skip it. The image looks too good.
The... nozzles are bit too reflective IMO (uness it the pigment gives me the
false impression)

I thought the same as Margus re:nozzles.

Nonetheless very striking image.

BTW, my planet surrenders to you and your
superior technology.

More specifically, I am pinpointing the 'stem' connecting the left nozzle to
the central cube ...

I don't know .. I kinda like 'em like that, but I'll tone it down and see
what happens.

Many thanks.

Muwahaha! You will be assimilated ... resistance is you-know-what!

Neat, but why cubical? Then again it is the only tileable polyhedron.

Took me a moment to realize what you were saying about the darker part, I see it
though. Two light gray cylinders and one dark gray.
It's an interesting looking device, figuring it's purpose is something I can't
do.
