... nabbed the reference image from wetcanvas.com... as with the others,
traced on graph paper, plotted out the splines, & generated the stuff to
fill it up... as usual, your comments are welcome :)

depends on how much crack I've smoked... ;)

this banana picture is proving to be my nemesis - I've tried it with oil
pastels and again with acrylics, only to be crushed in defeat...and as much
as I'd like to blame the source material, I'm think I'm not yet mature
enough as an artist to bring this image to life... fortunately, this method
of "painting" allows me to revisit it and try a totally different approach
without having to torture myself too badly (although that may be what's
needed)...
