Howdy

Well I finished the beach pic. This render took 1s to parse and 71h 31m 3s
to render on a PIII-667MHz with 128mb ram.

Changes are, I added dispersion to the glass things although jpeg kills the
pretty colours, the clouds are slightly darker, and that object appeared on
the right. The water doesn't look so good now but that is due to the higher
aa settings I used, +am2 +r2 +a0.0 so that the poles could be seen properly
in the distance.

The scene includes radiosity which seems to work quite well. Everything else
in the scene is the same as before, and it is staying the way it is! :) I
should spend some time on some other scenes. I have a nice idea inspired by
Piet Mondrian to do, (if you hadn't guessed this was inspired by Dali,
surprise surprise). The one thing I do wish to add, and I may do in the
future (distant future mind), is to add some ants crawling from left to
right, disappearing through the letterbox. I'll put a higher quality jpeg on
my website site so that the dispersion can be seen.

Comments and criticisms more than welcome, but don't expect any updates :)

Kev

One more thing, any one got any ideas for a title?

I think it needs a door knob.

The water is bad in this one, but that was a side effect.

The door is... odd, to say the least. I won't infringe on your artistic
statement, whatever it's supposed to be. It is at any rate nicely detailed.

You changed the aspect ratio. Shame on you. :)

..... wierd ..... it eludes me

Thanks

Actually, it was always meant to have this aspect ratio, I just never let it
get to the end of the render before.
