I thought I read someone here saying they were working on wave function
collapse in POV-Ray. I rabbit-holed the weekend (and a chunk of my
Monday) on it, and I have two successful images generated purely in the SDL.
Requires POV-Ray 3.8 because I really love dictionaries.

My Brother in Rendering,
You have to provide more info, because it's been ages since I watched Daniel
Schiffman code this in an ADHD frenzy on the Coding Train.
What have you done?

I wrote a lot of macros, annoyed my wife, and found a bug.
(We did watch the coding train video, and my wife enjoyed his
presentation process. She's an educator and found him a bit manic but
it was nice the way Daniel showed the full process and corrections in
the edit.)
I was trying to make the code presentable when I found the bug.

How can anyone not?

That's the good thing about his channel. He shows you how he works through it,
from the lack of detail in an academic paper to the math, and the translation
into algorithms and code.
If you don't tear your eyeballs out before he gets to that point.

Isn't that always the way it works?

Thank you.
I've uploaded a zip file with a minimal viable product and not enough
documentation or comments to satisfy over in p.t.scene-files.
