Hi,

With a great help from @jr and his magic 'df3util' following images was
rendered based on DCOM data from this site:https://www.dicomlibrary.com

They also available online:
https://povlab.online/?scene=dicom.pov
https://povlab.online/?scene=dicom_iso.pov

Rendering time is ~6 sec and ~14 sec respectively.

the colours in the latter really bring out the details.  very cool.

I've performed a few renders from DICOM series years ago, but the 
process was painfully slow.
