cloudscape I see the flying horse Pegasus!

Awesome start ! When the textures show lots of detailing, Take care not to leave
silhouettes (such as the roofs currently) too straight or that contradiction
reduces potential.  Same for the floor, starting with great texture, but cutting
straight against the houses.

Because it is not a typical English word ;-) It is used in many languages.

Even in Italian the term is "pareidolia", the word comes from the Greek 
term εἴδωλον (image) with the prefix παρά (near).
And indeed it's an interesting image.
