Would you mind sharing the render times with and without POV specific objects?

And this is the final final render.

Version 3.7; +a0.01; photon spacing 0.001; 6 threads; 3 hours render time.

I think that would be interesting.
There are two items of interest:
1)Memory:
#declare a mesh and use a copy, folding chair.
Use one texture for the hole mesh, split folding chair, use one texture for each
part.
2)Simple geometric shapes, use sphere.

Very nice, Thomas. Thanks for your suggestions on my previous attempt. At this
point I'm calling this my final render (final final may come later ;)

Again, I like how the images are interpreted differently from person to
person. Good work Robert.

Hi all!

I showed works of Thomas de Groot, clipka, Robert McGregor on our site, but
responses, comments aren't present. Nobody abuses, but also only the +2 rating
More and more users start using Cycles-render built in the Blender. It strongly
concedes, loses to Povray in creation of glass objects, but, users will better
exclude glass from work...
And I don't like Cycles
I worked today over development of export of hair from the Blender in Povray.
However, far I didn't leave

To all participants (taken part) dough many thanks!

Let us know if you get some interesting comments on the images. I am
always curious to hear from outside the community.

I have not (yet) mastered Blender (on my famous ToDo list) so I don't
know about the possibilities of Cycles. However, I shall keep my eyes open.

What you say about hair export from Blender interests me. Keep us informed!

I was very happy and interested to participate in this test and it
learned me a couple of things besides, so thanks to you too for
initiating this and for working on these export possibilities between
Blender and POV-Ray.

Thomas
