Ah, the Denver Broncos. A good friend of mine is a *HUGE* basketball 
fan, so even while I'm not a bit interested in sports I know much more 
about the NFL than the German soccer league ;)

It's nicely beveled and would deserve a more impressive lighting, IMO.

Nice work! Makes me remember that I should go on with Blender. So much 
to do, that it often is pushed aside...

You know I got a lot of mileage by finding a fairly simple 3ds model (a 
light bulb that needed some help) I imported and started playing around 
with it until I got bored ... then I found the curve tutorial. 
Conclusion ... blender not that bad if you take the time to dig in ;-)

it's kinda like reading on a smartphone:  if you can resist the urge to use all
features at the same time, you can have a good time with it
