Reflective sphere on cobbled plane that is.
Just something I *cobbled* together (pun intended...).
Procedural cobblestones. These are generated from crackle
pattern->function->heightfield. Also not that it is not infinite, but rather
fully tileable (if you look closely you can note the repetition.

Well, you have to look very carefully to see the repetitions, so, well done
indeed. I am not sure, the cobbles could be either a bit larger or a bit
smaller. Have you tried? I am feeling a tiny bit uneasy about them.
