Thanks, Bill. Minimalist indeed. Which I like best for scenes. Somehow, I
often go much beyond that... :-)

Haha, it looks like he's naked behind the shield!
Sorry, I briefly regressed to the playground there ;)

The spear need more weight(volume ?) at its base or it is too long to be
held like that: the wrist will get too much effort from the torque.
Leggings and no shoes, interesting for a warrior with a spear.
(just really impressed, so looking for the details in denial ;-)

I bit of a wimp with that big shield.

Well of course I knew that many ancient cultures didn't bother with much in the
way of greaves or cuirasses or even loincloths... the perfect coverage of the
shield just amused me :)
Although I have to say, that was a google search I approached with some
trepidation (not to mention some looks behind me)

Of course he is naked! ;-) As he knows some people might be offended, he
just uses his shield... but he is far from shy otherwise.

He is strong :-) In RL they used even longer spears, up to 5 or 6 meters,
at least till Alexander's time, handled with both hands of course.
Not really visible here is the bronze ending at the base of the spear.

He was in a hurry...
