High!
As announced last night, I meanwhile measured/calculated the whole block
I live in - as well as the identical (mirrored) block on the opposite
side of the street.
I tweaked the sky a little, as well as the "concrete" texture of the
blocks (which in fact is a kind of stucco plaster, with a slightly
greenish hue), and added the (more receded, which I noted today for the
first time - after 15 years!) balconies on the northern wing in the
southernmost houses (numbers 246 and 244).
I also added some (very) basic radiosity to get a better view of the
shadowed parts... and attached here is also a photo of the real thing!
During the next days, I probably will concentrate on the interior layout
of my apartment in house #246 on the second floor (the ones below are
identical), and generally adding windows and balcony entrance doors.

I define "day" as "continuous period of awakeness"!

This is an interesting project. I am waiting for the developments to see
where this will lead ultimately (and how you are going to tackle the
upcoming hurdles).

That's a good way to define it, though it gets confusing when one 'day'
lasts for more then 36 hours.
