Thanks! Illusion.inc is the name of the file which allows an image_map
to be placed directly in front of a render. You can apply the pigment to
any objects you want. You can perform many compositing tricks this way.

Any tutorials about this anywhere? If not, maybe someone should create
one.

Yep. It does look different, but the habitus and the idea of a metallic,
robotic bug makes mind-bridges.

Is this a hint? Are you trying to say that I should be the one to do
this? Well, perhaps I should, since nobody else is stepping up :)
The POV-Ray wiki seems to be the perfect place to post such a tut. Can
binary files (besides images) be uploaded to the wiki? I'm asking
because somebody requested an explanation for my weathered rocks a while
back, and I would like to place the necessary files in a more secure
place. My own web space is slight, and is not very permanent.

Should be able to - if you can't, MediaWiki can be modified to accept
files with specific extensions. I think zip is included as part of the
default set, though. If the file is over a certain size, you'll get a
warning, but it should let you continue.

Well, I'll keep this in mind. The POV-Wiki is already giving me problems...

Creepy yet gorgeous. I'm just amazed at how quickly--and seemingly
effortlessly--you manage to turn out one beautiful render after another. I'm in
awe--and a bit envious! :-)
