They are very pretty. Maybe a bit more transparency on the green?

Thank you Janet. Yes, the green definately needs more refining. Heh, I
love the testing side of producing an image, I must have rendered these eggs
about 30 times now. :)

Of course, thanks for that. I'll try a darker green and try to get
more transparency into it too. In fact, before that, I'll swap the colours
to see if the green is any better where the blue is now, and vice versa.

That's what I thought, Steve. It might be positional.
Another thing, I love your gold texture. I can see faces in the
reflections and there is one set of reflections that when you zoom
into it, gets more involved. (About 2:30 on the clock)

RL green enamel tend to be duller than other colours, don't know why. Your is
prety convincing.
With those gold strips, you also need red and black ones.

Good work steve, I find the green convincing enough. Just looked at it
again and now noticed the pedestal on the left and particularly the
feet. They struck me as something designed by someone who had worked and
designed with the real thing. I checked the poster and guess what, it
was you. ;)

Thanks Alain. I'm still playing with it though. ;)

Like the attached? Or alternating on each egg? If the latter, then that
is a challenge indeed with these models as they are now. ;)

Well, the attached is a straight swap colour-wise. As I suspected, the
blue still looks good, with the surface underneath reflecting its
surroundings as it should. But, the green on the other egg is now darker,
and still doesn't look good.

Heh, faces in 3d artwork is a cool thing to get into. I've seen many
faces myself. :)
