Perhaps the correlation is linked to an unusually disproportionate
allocation of project time versus grooming time...

Wow, I don't know if I'll ever be able to match that. The German and
Scottish genes don't quite outweigh the Native American in me I guess.

Not in Blender, they're not! Well, they are a little hard to train though.

Looks pretty good. And the idea is interesting.

Oh, I love this rock!
How can we do? Uhm... You have used the trick of Tek elements... or?
;-)

Too late for what, replying to old posts? Never. ;)

I don't think I ever really used any special tricks for that image. The
hardest part was making the pigment patterns match up for the isosurface
head and isosurface body. It was just a matter of translating things. It
looks like I posted the source here:

Obviously the source had already examined very carefully. ;-)
Excuse me, I was referring to "little chromatic aberration and film grain
effect", which I find *very* attractive...

Oops, I didn't realize what you were asking for. I just posted an
updated copy of the code to povray.text.scene-files. It's actually quite
a simple effect to create. It's not physically accurate, but should be
enough to get you started :)

Nice. Not half bad for a demo scene. Let's see... film grain, bokeh, chromatic
aberration, lens flare, lightsys... I guess JPEG artifacts are easy enough to
add. That still leaves purple fringing, blue channel noise, crud on the
sensor. Collect that into a coherent system, and we'd have a pretty
comprehensive camera model!

If stbenge did not exist, we should invent it. ;-)
Thanks for the time you've spent.
Thank you!

Yeah, I have a mous... mos... a mustache and a little beard--both of which are
starting to turn white. Egads!
