An image I buit for my brother who is a guitarist as me.
Very much inspired from Jeff Beck's 'Guitar Shop' album sleve. (one of the
best rock guitar album if you want my opinion)
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000026KQ.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg (the original)
I think I'll have to work more on the lighting (light_groups) because the
artist cheated with real light.

Nice,

Where did you get that model of the guitar?

I did NOT get it, I modelled it with Moray from my brother's Telecaster:-)
It features (with some other instruments I modelled) in an IRTC entry
(Music) I submitted last year.

It's one of the best guitar models I've ever seen in this group.
I like the wood/sunburst texture of it. Is that an image mapped to it?

Thank you!

the shape of the sunburst is an image pattern (attached jpg file), the rest
is procedural

Don't you have the name of the shop the wrong way round. From inside
the shop the letters should be reversed. Unless it is on a rotating
pole that just happens to be in the correct orientation but in any
case it looks wrong to me.

Of course :-)
But don't forget it is a LP ( reissued as CD) sleeve (look at the original I
put a link to in the initial post)
The sign makes the title of the album, so it is turned towards the point of
view.
There are other strange things in this drawing, as giant guitars on the lift
and on the truck outside.
The artist took some freedom with the reality and I do alike :-)

Marc
