You'll have to get rid of those stalks, Thomas.  :-)
Could you pre-render the leaves and convert them into a mesh so you would only
have to do it once?

Yes. Well, you know how it is: take a leaf down, trim the stem, put the leaf 
back, take the next leaf down....  :-)

Shame on me! You put the finger on the sore spot! This is a flagrant case of 
sloppy code writing! I was so stupid to call the image_map for every single 
leaf. No wonder the pc (which is sometimes more intelligent than I am) was 
protesting. Corrected now.
