Yes... it's supposed to resemble a very famous painting :)

Models are Counter-Strikes .mdl files converted to POV .inc files via
MilkShape (as seen before).

Im not that happy with the table legs or the light, but Im pleased with the
overall look... ;)

A big thanks to Thomas de Groot for help with the Table Cloth generator.
There are still some un-nice squares on the cloth that I need to figure out
how to get rid of.

This is class... I should show this to the NERV CSS division! LOL.

Hehe, you play with NERV? These are the cs:cz models though.
Since that's my game and uh... the CSS models are a bit more detailed... :)

To be honest, I'm impressed you managed to get game models into POV-Ray
at all... must have been an extremely complex process!

Cool concept. The game models are low poly but since away it doesn't
matter. I don't like the flat lit background and lack of colors on the
wall paintings and cloth texture though. oh, perhaps it's supposed to look
like in-game?

Very amusing. You might want to either drop the tablecloth down the
front more or otherwise cover up the legs of Christ there. In the
original painting, Jesus is sitting with his feet crossed and his arms
out like he's crucified, and the eye naturally gets drawn to that if one
knows that. Or, of course, cross the general's legs under the table, if
you can.

This is very good indeed!! I like this reference to Da Vinci with a bit of
tongue in cheek.
The squares on the cloth is just the texture, so you can replace it by
whatever you want. Note that they could also be scaled down a bit along the
x-axis to make them really square and not rectangular.

The Last Supper around a gingham check tablecloth?
It works for me.

I like the flatness of the background as an alternative to focal blur
directing your attention to the general and the missionaries.

Indeed.

Absolutely! In addition, the flatness is a kind of echo of the frescoes from
before perspective was *invented*.
