Hi all

Just something I've been playing with recently. It's a ring that I'm
going to make for someone in 18ct yellow and rose gold with 3 diamonds and 2
emeralds. When I've made it, I'll post an image <somewhere> of the real
thing if you're interested.

Yes, there's that kitchen again! ;)

    C/C always welcome.

    ~Steve~

You're going to *make* it??

Jesus... you must have _really_ small fingers! ;-)

Neat image by the way.

Yes, it's her design. She sent me a flat 2D image of what she wanted and
this is the result in Wings3D and PoVRay.

No, really *BIG* fingers actually. I once had a lady ask me how I do my
job because of the size of my hands, (I'm an Oblivion Ogre!) I guess it's
no different from small fingers. It's all in the grip.

    Hey, thanks Mr. A. :)

Most beautiful, how much would the end product cost ?
Additionally it must take a while to craft aswell.

Good work.

Matt

Since you've got it done digitally already, it seems like a perhaps
less-craftmanlike yet still kinda cool thing to try would be to use one of
those jewelry 3D printers.... Nice images :)

Oh, I've been looking at them recently! Yes, I'd love to have a go on one
of those. Now, where to get that kind of money... ;)

 Nice images :)

    Thank you Charles! :o)

This will probably take about 2-3 weeks to make, in amongst other jobs.

There are lots of service bureaus, which charge around $50-70 per wax/resin
model.
