star.inc don't like AA! You may need to multiply the color_map values by some large
values. How
large depending on the method used and the recursion level.

Hi Alain,

in some of my previews I used the "stars.inc" file which I like a lot! I
have not encountered the problems with AA as you mention. Those files were
generated with switched on AA.

However, I appreciate your note and hope to get many more informations and
feedback from you.

Greetings,

Sven

Scene:
The mega preview showing the current stage of the imperial carrier
SENECA.
The interior of the two large bays comes soon to its completion, and I
will
continue then to work on the outside details of the bays and the middle
section.

PS: The "Preview 10 (1.0 MB): Imperial Carrier" contains a larger image
of the SENECA (6400x4800 pixels) and the render statistics.

Just out of curiosity, why are you using only one thread on a dual CPU
system? Is it just so you can keep using your computer in the meantime?

I'm actually using Thunderbird already but only for emails. I weren't aware
of its newsreader abilities. I'll try this now!

To sven:
Since you attach your images i can see them with the web browser without any
problems and your model is great!
Keep it up!

My pleasure! The fault was on my side - I should have done it from the very
first moment that way (attaching). Sorry again for the temporary
inconvenience.

Greetings,

Sven
