The wall looks great but the door must be new
installed into it's frame. It looks too clean
compared to the wall.

Beautiful start.  I think an intriguing thing will be the ultimate 
texturing of the door.  Right now of course the texture is common to the 
vertical slats and horizontal braces, but obviously that would not be 
true for the wood grain.  I might be true however for some of the 
weathering and wear.  You know, a spill or scrape might extend across 
both a slat and a brace.

I like it as well. I agree with this about the boards, and also think a thin
brick veneer on the sides of the brinks to hide the 2d texture will help a
good deal.
