Nice... but to be more geographically correct, I would make also all 
land areas lying below sea level (as for example the Lake Eyre 
depression in Australia, which is prominently visible in your scene) 
part of the opaque continents rather then letting the blue "glass" shine 
through!

Question to all the master Earth renderers here, how did you solve the 
depressions problem with NASA data?
