Heh, the clue is in the filename. ;)

Well, the stripe is there, but I admit it's hard to see. And I agree
with the face being "not spotted".

I think it could be a bit bigger, but I was going by that reference
image, so I think I'll leave it for now.

    Check.

Thank you. What do you think now?

Yes, I haven't even thought about the paws properly yet.

Definately! I think it's sorted now.

     Heh, thanks.

What do you think of the update?

Yeah, you were right Raf - I just didn't spot it! :oO

         Thanks.

LOL. ;-)

Looks like the animal has been "cut out" and stuck on top of the blurry
background. (Look at the edges; they somehow don't look "right".)

Definite texturing improvements.

The bit under the chip is actually a tuft of fur waving in the breeze;
in your image, it looks like some bizzare kind of growth coming out of
the animal's neck.

The elbows at the front still need work. The far one is too smooth. The
near one seens to "tuck in" behind the bone. (Compare to the reference.)

The back legs look good. The tail probably joins the body a bit too
smoothly, but otherwise looks good.

Anyway, it's better than anything I ever made...

only just seen it browsing the thread, improved

dalmations(sp?) spring to mind, that could be background fur colour not
quite right, or too many dots ?

if it went past at speed, i'd describe it as a cheetah

i'll wait for the animation :-)

Thanks! The next one should be better as I'm totally remodelling the
head and some other bits.

Yes, I'm having hassles with this, although it does look better than
the original.

:o) Heh, that would be good! But it's a no-no for now as I've never
tried animation.

      It's a boil.

      Patience is a virtue. ;)

I'll tell you what Andrew, well spotted mate! (No pun intended). I
believe this is the original image:

     http://www.1stoppostershop.com/products/Impact/Wildlife/im_TheSpottedWind.jpg

     Pictures do lie...

Hmm... that now gives me a problem with my image... What to do with the
background...
