I finally figured out this UV_mapping thing with "mesh".  I plan to make 
this thing a whole lot more detailed and complex, but for now this 'proof of 
concept' came out ok.

Ahh yes, my grandad fought in the self-sealing envelope wars ..

Seriously though, it looks spectacular, this is a 'hero shot' waiting 
for a story line .. I can't wait to see the evolution of the ships, 
please keep posting.
