Well, I'm thrilled to be here, and have learned much just from reading the
many interresting discussions. However, in pursuing links and admiring
user's gallery's, it kept coming up that my first image posted must be a
"Mirrored Ball on a Checkered Plane". I must say, what an odd request! I
would have thought you'd ask for something more conventional.
Never-the-less, here you go:

Will just any Ball do? Lucy was the only one I could think of...

I've seen the checkered airplane before, but I'm positive Lucille Ball 
is a unique sphere substitution for a RSOCP rendering.  Welcome aboard!

Conventional? Oh no! However, it is a very old request, dating back to the
Stone Age, when new tribe members were requested to polish some round rocks
to prove their abilities.
