Heh heh, don't get me started!

Now you've got me thinking about a whole series of hot-rodded yard tools
wielded by a bunch of Hell's Gardners in leather and chains... the skull &
crossbones surrounded by the defiant "Live to mow, mow to live" logo on
their backs...

RG - just when you thought it was safe to go back in the yard

All this image needs is a background of woodchips and a pine forest, forget
the lawn. I think I'll take after that Aussie KFC ad and supe-up a wheel
chair! Gramps on a 2-stroke Racec(h)a(i)r comin up!

Wow!

1977 Chevrolet race mower, with power shredder for swimming through the
thickest neglected lawn.

I can't clam to know for sure, I didn't build the thing, but from the
lack of obvious valves, I would say 2 stroke. From the thinness of the
fuel line to the heads, it might be fuel-injected also.

Ok, its missing some parts still...

It is fuel injection. It's supposed to be 4 stroke, but I still need to
make push-rods and rocker covers (which means changing the heads, so I've
resisted since I think the heads look cool). And 2 stroke has more torque
so maybe the way to go...

Also needs battery, electric starter and a distributor of some kind (right
now spark plug wires are coming out of a coil not connected to anything),
gas tank, fuel lines & filters, a gauge panel (oil pres, temp & tach), a
throttle (I'm leaning toward making the handlebars more motorcycle style
with the throttle handgrip) and cables.

Still haven't decided how to use it so ideas & suggestions welcome!

RG
