Yep, the background wall needs definitely some improvements. I think 
you're right about the color, I will try to find a more contrasted one.

Conerning the one with the rain drop, well, it will depends if I manage 
to do it...

I thought about it but I was afraid it will be quite long to render or 
that I can't achieve the "trace" effect as seen on the image on the 
link. But I'll have to investigate deeper. Thanks.

Personally, I love it where it is .. I think that fake-rain look in the 
referenced image looks a little cheesy.
