Well, there is a barely modeled tunnel crossing a simple dome-like
hill. Just to give the impression that there is something...

Hey Jaime!
Don't you know what happens to the guys who post photographs here?
They are poured molten tar on them, covered whith feathers, tied on a
rail.....
Now I stop kidding. Thats fantastic!!
The only critics I can do have yet be done: sharp shadows, blue signs too
clean.
And tree trunks slightly too gnarled (end trees too tall and close to the
road)
But WOW I can smell more or less well burned gaz , heated oil and tyres (I
think I'll go too the seaside to clean up my lungs lol)
Regards
Marc

breathtaking.
From my wacky perspective, somehow this would be even cooler if you were to
add to it something that ain't photorealistic or overly stylized in
construction. That would make it extra cool. If you were to say put this
image as-is on a subway billboard advertisement, who'd care-- it's just a
photograph.

It is an amazing image. I also thought it was cars pasted into a picture!

The pavement is very good looking. I'm not sure about the autobahn, but
normally worn asphault has a pattern of cracks that I haven't found a good
way to simulate. Concrete has bigger 'holes' that at highway speeds don't
make a thump as much as you think considering how deep they can be.
I also thought the way the lane wear was done was excellent.

Yes, you know me! I used the same trick but a bit specialized for the
material_map which uses it. The base is a concrete photo from
imageafter.com, with a bit of turbulence on y, and a gradient x on top
for the dirty on the center of the lanes (not very well aligned, indeed).

Hope you like it...

Yes, the placement of the fence pieces is totally straight... I should
do something to make it a bit winding. Thanks!

I like cars, but not as much as I like driving. But I don't like
driving on the highway... it's boring: I prefer the city or rural roads.
I did a highway scene because it is easier to model than a city or a
rural road.
