Kicking around an old b&w render. Added some detail code and messed
around with colorizing it.

No special techniques. I only use light when I want to show the face of
something. Often, I just make geometry and color it with ambient
pigments. This scene is:
#default { finish { ambient 1 } }
The outlines are geometry or pigment maps. You can see on 'inky' (the
top one) how I re-rendered after the detail code, leaving the border of
the large ball black when it should have been white. This caused an
unfortunate gap between two balls on the right, leaving an unattractive,
tiny white "island". Easy enough to fix if I ever wanted to do anything
further with the silhouette.
