Thanks LB! (already posted it last week on news.zoo-logique.org, maybe you
missed it :-) )

Actually, this is the default setting given by Moray, it is also the default
for Povray (I've just checked the documentation for that)
normal and media are also on by default, I will try to set them off.

Thanks, I will try!

That render time seems reasonable with such a scene and these settings.
You might try decreasing pretrace_end and low_error_count. Also
might try the 'randomize' option from MegaPOV.

Thanks for the tips Christoph,

I don't have Megapov installed (and I don't think it is compatible with
Moray)

Anyway I've re-rendered a new version with better count and error_bound
settings (took 2.5 days!), there are less artifacts now and I'm happy with
the result.

The gui does not work but there is a workaround, here is how I do
I create a InsertCode plugin object in which I put
#version unofficial megapov 1.1;
I check "Export at th beginning of export"

then I export the files to pov with Crl+F9

And to finish, I run the .ini file of the scene in Megapov

I see... So I suppose you have both Megapov and Povray 3.5 (for texture
preview) installed?
Well thanks Marc, maybe I'll try Megapov one day or the other (though I'm
very far from mastering all standard Povray features...)

Exactly :)

Megapov is worth the installation even if you use only one or two features
