Immediately thought 'this looks like a Mick Hazelgrove'...

Nice work, maybe the foreground could use a bit more structure (either 
in texture or in geometry).

Chuckle, interstingly the image started out with some sort of apocalyptic 
post industrial idea in mind- so this is very apt.

Hi All

Thanks for your kind comments and sugestions they've  certainly given me 
food for thought. When I first did the pic it didn't even have the arch in 
it! so leaving it as is is certainly an option.  I think I will do it in 3 
flavours, just the desert, the desert and arch and one with a figure in it.

I see the word "desert" alone, I imagine terribly aggressive machinery, 
melt steel and the like.

Great picture, with a immediatly recognisable style, btw :-)
