Been busy... haven't posted anything in ages. Here's a little something
I've been working on.

Great Image! I see you did a render then added it as a Photograph in the
second room :) I would work on the scrabble game... like take a scanned
image of a scrabble board and map it onto the board you have now... you may
have to increase the dimensions of the board so you would be able to read
the tiles... but other than that one nit pick Excellent!

Not quite sure what you see... the lamps were all made from the same .inc
file. Has anybody done work on translucency... I can't get realistic lamp
shades? There is a problem with the tv (the slope [or lack thereof] of the
top/left/back of the outer shell), the cd player never got finished (can't
really see that from this distance, tho), and there are no electric cords
for anything.

For huge (3000+ pixel wide) renders, I've rendered and replaced the photo on
the wall multiple times to get the pic-in-pic-in-pic effect. I've posted a
not-ready-for-public viewing animation in the binaries.animations group....
set it to loop. I did a version with an old black-and-white still of Rod
Serling on the Twilight Zone on the tv.

I wanted something original. It's loosely modeled after an Upwords board I
have.

P.S. But there are speakers in the speaker cabinets. I also made the rear
surround speakers and stands for them (but they weren't in this render).
And in the photograph of the four guys (I'm the second from the left) I'm
holding a photo of us same four guys ("we same four guys"??? I never could
keep that straight.) in the same pose taken twenty years earlier.

Nice. This reminds me a bit of Gilles Tran's The Thin Wall image.
