to model it in Wings3d.

How did You modell it? ALl I see are basic objects there like spheres etc. 
Are there any good tutorials?

I played with inset, bridge, bevel, extrude, extrude region and what not.... 
I don't exactly remember.

A long way to go yet with wings for me!

Did you export to .pov, or to .obj & convert with poseray?
