Perhaps under the influence of Jorge Luis Borges, a labyrinth of open doors.
Would be wonderful to count on some constructive critic, suggestions or
comments before displaying in this forum a bigger and polished image.
(This one has been fixed -but not finished- with Photoshop to improve some
CSG errors).

I find that the mirrors look too much like openings for my taste, and
would suggest that they'd be better if they didn't go all the way down
to the ground.
I'd also suggest adding at least one more doorway, so that it's not
impossible to find a route that takes the man in the maze to rooms on
the left side of the image.

Very nice, indeed!
Realized with a macro?
Could be interesting adjusting camera parameters and creating a tiled
wallpaper.

Interesting idea :)
This mirrors are a bit confusing, perhaps make them in other shape then
windows? And adding photons maybe could be a good idea

I see, it appears doors instead mirrors, I'll fix.

Well, the distribution of walls, windows and doors is based on a random
function, based on the row and column where the object is placed, I only can
modify the parameters to generate another maze or keep faith in the boy to
find a way to exit.
(do I said there's an exit?)

Yes, is a little faster instead of putting infinity objects handly.
The code, but not the mesh of the person is in p.b.s-f.

Next version could have two or threes shapes of every object.

I'd agree that the mirrors need to look less like doors. Maybe put a
table in front of each, with a vase of flowers or something, for that
extra-surreal look?
> (do I said there's an exit?)
Sure. Climb up, using doorknob and door top, then walk along the edges
of the roof. :-)

Nice image, I also like Borges. I would try with an individual light for
each hexagon using fade distance and power.
IMO the atmosphere has to be a little oppresive, you know what I mean.

I forgot to mention you'd need a lot of books (better a lot of libraries),
IIRC Jaime has a good macro and Gilles too.
But maybe you'll want to develope some?

Hehe - Ok.
I was just guessing about what the subject was referring to,
but I see now that I should have Googled that sentence before
replying.

Is a short english translation from : Lore ipsum dolor sit amet,
consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nibh euismod tincidunt ut
laoreet dolore magna aliquam erat voluptat.
...or is pangram, a standard from typesetting were you get all the letters
of the alphabet?
B. Gimeno
Spanish pangram : Es extraño mojar queso en la cerveza o probar whisky de
garrafa
(Is strange to dip cheese in the beer o taste carafe's whisky)

Aaah - "Pseudo Latin". No I don't understand that language... =)

Yes it is a pangram.
Your text used almost all the letters in the english alphabet,
so I thought that _maybe_ the subject was referring to this.
(I used this pangram a lot while repairing old teletype machines.
We made punched paper tapes with the hole patterns for this
pangram so that we could check all the letter-"hammers"(?) in
the machines.)

I tracked down the origin of the text, turns out that at least part of it is
from Cicero.

BTW, there's something sad about this picture... Sort of reminds me of a book I
once read called House of Endless Stairs.
