Hello,

well, the concept is very simple, a ring on a chain, on a table. There is
only one problem, the characters are all the same! When I copy/paste the
string I use for the text into Word, and use the same font, it looks like it
should do (with different characters).

Can someone help me with this problem?

other comments are welcome as well of course :-).

Greetings,

JWV

not realy, it is an heigth_field with an image map (and slightly
reflective). Image used for the hf and image map come from:

http://www.gfx-world.net

It is realy good site for textures and stuff like that.

Have you tried setting the charset to utf8?
      global_settings { charset utf8}
It solves some font problems.

Shouldn't it have letters both on the outer and inner "faces"?

If you do that, beware! I've seen a picture where the letters inside the
ring were reversed (as the detetive's name is reversed when seen from
inside the glass door... ;) ).

By the way, if you're using fonts with the "Dan Smith encoding", I've found
this gives a nice inscription:

AE5,Ex26Yw1EjHzYN
AE5,ExxwP%1EjH
AE5,Ex37zE1EjHzYN
X#w6YktYAT`Bz7qpT1EjH

(no need to use utf8, unless your text editor uses it...)

Nice image, i like it very much!

i hate to nitpick, but i can see some obvious rotation/ intersection problem
with the chain links. i have no idea how to fix them, but i can show you
what i'm talking about.

the links don't appear to rest against eachother, they appear to go through
eachother.

can't seem to solve it for the moment.

Thanks for the feedback!
