Shouldn't it have letters both on the outer and inner "faces"?

If you do that, beware! I've seen a picture where the letters inside the
ring were reversed (as the detetive's name is reversed when seen from
inside the glass door... ;) ).

By the way, if you're using fonts with the "Dan Smith encoding", I've found
this gives a nice inscription:

AE5,Ex26Yw1EjHzYN
AE5,ExxwP%1EjH
AE5,Ex37zE1EjHzYN
X#w6YktYAT`Bz7qpT1EjH

(no need to use utf8, unless your text editor uses it...)

Nice image, i like it very much!

i hate to nitpick, but i can see some obvious rotation/ intersection problem
with the chain links. i have no idea how to fix them, but i can show you
what i'm talking about.

the links don't appear to rest against eachother, they appear to go through
eachother.

I know what you are talking about, and i was aware of the problem. But i
can't seem to solve it for the moment.

Thanks for the feedback!

The metal chain texture is excellent - could you share it with us?
