Nothing groundbreaking here...

I'm going to give building my own arcade controller a try, so I thought I'd
render my plans with POV to see what it will look like. I'd like to be able
to use my controller to play Centipede (which I'm currently writing my own
version of) and Robotron. Unfortunately, I've got so many other projects
going on now that it will probably be quite a while before I can actually
begin construction.

Regards,
David

The purple button is nice, but the green trackball looks a bit
"strange". I think the box would look better if it was painted in black
instead of brilliant wood... The two joysticks looks good, but I think
there will be some problems with moving them :D

the obvious problem is that you should be using black and white checkers for
the body and a chrome sphere for the trackball!

Here is a site that you might find useful in building your controller:

http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm

Have you thought about buying ready made controllers? Not as fun but as
you said you are busy:
