This reminds me of a style by someone who I havn't seen around here in a
long while. I can't remember his name, but for some reason I think all his
posts for images had a one letter subject. He used a lot of repetition in
his scenes with variations of color, like this, to a very good effect.

nice work. I would suggest a little work on the ground. otherwise, it's
good!

Good!!!

I'll tell you what would be real neat... Use the reflection in the googles
to show some penguins leaping into water. hee hee.

Thanks for the advice Rafal.
I agree. I wasn't too happy with the textures either.
I haven't had a lot of experience using Povray to date so I went with what I
had.
I definitely intend playing with them more in the future.

Work, kids and missus permitting of course :-)

This is definitely still work in progress.

cheers,

Ian

Thanks.
Matt was right.
100% povray - and a lot of trial and error.
Using sphere, torus, cylinder, blobs, csg objects.

cheers,

Ian

Great idea on the reflection in the mask.
I'll have a play.

I've taken on board a few comments I got from the first version of this
image.
I've gone with a metallic skin version for those extra reflections.

Let me know what you think....

cheers,

Ian

Don't like. Too metalic. I want the first one please, it was nice and
cartoony.
Ground is better in this one tho'.
