Torus Knot courtesy of KnotPlot (man, I can waste hours with that little
software app --
http://www.cs.ubc.ca/nest/imager/contributions/scharein/KnotPlot.html )

The checker patterns are something new I'm trying -- generating fractals
with repeated use of "checker," basically shrink and move and loop 5 or
6 times. I'm sure it's been done before and better by someone -- if
anyone has a link handy, I'd appreciate it.

I remember trying checker-in-checker a very long time ago but in those days
POV-Ray used to freak out on that :)

This whole thing really works for me as an image. I like it!

Now it works fine, but recursion still makes my brain hurt.

Reminds me somehow of Islamic art... like tileworks on Persian mosques!

See you in Khyberspace!
