Although I think the stairs could use some normal (like granite), they
look too flat IMHO.

Much better...it has a lot more atmosphere, and looks much more
balanced. Just a few things left: the shadows all look sharp, replacing
the top few lights with area lights might look quite a bit better, and
the steps seem to merge together on the top left of the image...no idea
wat to do about that. It seems a bit too bright, but getting as good an
image with darker lighting would be difficult.
