Hi all:
It was late last night when I posted the first WIP of
this model.
Now I think is nearly complete.
The glasses were made in Hamapatch.
I had to get rid of the lenses I did in Hamapatch
and try other method. Finally I made an intersection
between an scaled sphere and an extruded polygon
and works fine.
Some primitives were added to the model in Moray.
The texture for the plastic part is a texture map with
a gradient pattern.
The texture for the glass is a Tim Cook's creation.
The pills were also made in Hamapatch, imported to
Moray, converted to mesh2 and UVmapped.
Hope you like it.
Bye.

Nice work. Cool lense effect. One thing is for sure: with that kind of
effect, the person that use those glasses is probably almost blind. LOL

Ciao!

Mart

WOW! POV-Ray in a pill? Do I need a prescription or can I get them
over-the-counter? How many do I have to take to be a master?

Cool glasses.

RG

That was the effect I was after, the glasses of someone who is almost
blind, more magnifying glasses than normal lenses (the new IRTC topic
is "decay", so...)

Yes, and it's full of reflective spheres ;-)
I don't give advices about how many pills you
should take. You'll have to find your limits by
yourself.
I have adjusted better the UV_mapping.
Source file in POV format with the UV_maps is in p.b.s-f.

Good trip.

may cause surrealistic visions and cpu overheating.
do not allow children to operate heavy machinery while under the influence
in case of rash or inverted z axis, see a physician.

Aw shucks, all I did was a minute or so of research on
the optical properties of glass and made a material in
Moray...^_^
