Couldn't you polish the sphere a bit? I think that squirrel tail would 
work nicely as a polishing rag >:-)

-Much appreciated. The squirrel is done in wings3D, and the rope is from a
simple (and buggy!) macro to make meshes out of splines.

-Hehe. My first idea was to put the camera in a room; a metal ball had
crashed through the ceiling and smashed up the floor tiles. It didn't look
that good though, so I turned it upside-down. I'm much happier with this
"before" version.

Makes me think back at "The Incredible Machine" (TIM), the only computer

Welcome here! It's always encouraging to see a new poster. The picture is
well done. The rope looks like advanced modelling. I also like the green
sky. The squirrel is made in Wings3d? I use that program too.
