I thought I was the only go playing povray user! :-)

That's really nice, but shouldn't the white stones be made
of clam shell? Also the edges of the stones look a little
sharp.

check out sente's wonderful goban board -- which I can't
use because I'm on linux and not Mac :(

That depends on whether you mean "the only POV-Ray user who's GOOD at go..."
