Made this for the cover of a CD mix I made my roomate.Finished in the course
of a day. I played around with different color combinations of eyes and
heads but this one looked the best. I plan on tinkering with this concept a
bit more untill I have something Zazzle worthy. What do you guys think? (all
comments/criticisms/critiques are welcome)

I'd say go less for that ambient-look, less
cartoonish lit, but more realistic, as if the
smileys are marbles or such. Something
very realistic would be nice, but thats just
my oppinion.

The ambient look was what I was going for intially. It fit the mix very well
since it was full of upbeat-technoy tunes. (My pal needed a lift... hence
the happy faces) Now that the image isn't restricted in such a way I'll tone
that down. An area light I think will help as the shadows look a little
goofy and much too sharp. I also think the white faces look much too flat. I
don't really want to go in the marble direction. Its been done before, but I
will try a more realistic look (as much as floating happy faces can be
realistic)

Thanks for the input,
Corey
