Awesome. I tried to make some euro coins, but they didn't look
nearly as good. Back to the drawing board ...

Money on a scale vs. something else is a good idea.
I'm not sure I'd want to choose among the old currencies,
as inevitably, someone would be insulted.

What does Norwegian money look like, by the way?

Why is it that colorful money reminds me of playing Monopoly?

Why old currency? A hundred Japanese Yen is worth about 0.75 euro. But I
see what you mean..
You could put something else on the scale, a human life, a nuclear
bomb.. Or a cluster for distributed POV-Ray rendering! :)

We use both regular stones and shiny stones, in addition to special
wooden bricks, pearls and gems (which are the most valuable). Sometimes
hitting the shop owner with you club can get you the stuff for free!
I'll scan some money tomorrow, if I can avoid scratching my scanner
glass plate that is..

Thanks for the link!

These kind of old notes are really quite something:

And now ...

With Norwegian banknotes.

Is it just me, or is there something strange about the spherical
distribution
of objects in VRand_In_Sphere?

Thanks, but I cheated: they are image_maps! It was a quick image for a
friend, to use it as the splash screen for an accounting app.

It looks better this time, but it would be better when you use some sort of
collision detection, so the objects don't touch eachother.
