I've been working on this model for a couple of days now. It's only 90% finished but
I thought I'd share it. The completed and textured model will follow as soon as
possible, together with a proper scene. Tools used: POV-Ray 3.5, a ruler and the real
thing (which is 7 inches long). Rendering time: ~ 2h 30m. Noise added in pp.
C&C is welcome as always :-)

Wow, looks great, Jonathan. And you made this without the help of a modeling
program?
Also, I found it a little amusing that you actually added noise to the image
:) That kind of noise is an artifact of the monte carlo rendering process
used in Arnold.. but it looks good in these kinds if pictures!

WOW! only 2 days? :c)
great job and excellent demonstration of the power of SDL.
Well, it's yet mud textured but I wouldn't exchange my place for that of
passengers untill you put a windscreen and lateral windows, I expected to
see their clean silhouetted shapes on the seats ;-)

Great modelling, can't wait to see the finished product.

!?! 8o)) Wow, time for some action.. hehe.. These kind of pictures are the
reason I love this group. Once again you've done a really great work! The
modelling is superb, and you know how to render it too. I can't WAIT to see
the final result. (this one is too grainy for my taste, btw).

In terms of modelling, I even think you've surpassed your own record.

Best regards,
Hugo

Thanks!

It won't be a boring shot like this. I want to tell a story with this...
you'll see :-)

Heh, it's not that hard, just an awfully boring work... :-\

Yep, I know that. With most monte carlo rendering engines you got grainy
pictures as you reduce the quality settings, the good thing being that they
still look decent (unlike the patchy results you can get with POV when you
use low settings).
